Foster’s Fishing Centre now County Shores

Foster’s Fishing has been a part of the Walleye World Fishing Derby for quite some time. We thought you should know, they’ve changed names! Here are some words from County Shores:

Located on the South Shore of The Bay of Quinte in Beautiful Prince Edward County, County Shores is a Campers, Anglers, and RVers paradise offering a quiet and memorable vacation for all. County Shores is a family operated business owned by Todd and Krista Foster on a Century Farm that has been in the Foster Family for over ten generations. County Shores is a 22 acre camping resort with over 1300 ft of shoreline providing fantastic views of the Bay of Quinte and its legendary sunsets.

For the Camper, we offer large open and shaded grass sites all with great views of the shoreline and water plus the convenience of being a short drive to all Prince Edward County Attractions and the world famous Sandbanks Provincial Park. For the Angler, come and fish the world famous Bay of Quinte and Telegraph Narrows for Record size Walleye (pickerel), Pike or Bass all from within view of our harbour and docks. For the RVer, we offer large open and level sites for easy RV access, along with Pull-thru?s and new 30 amp electricity, all less than 15 kilometres over good paved public roads from Highway 401.

County Shores (formerly Fosters? Fishing Centre, now under new ownership and management) has been associated with the Annual Kiwanis Walleye World Tournament for more than twenty years and has been pleased to host their weigh-in station during that time.

Much has changed in the past few years under the leadership and management of Todd and Krista and their family. A warm and friendly atmosphere and flexibly will await your arrival while maintaining care and quality of your stay. Electrical Sites have been upgraded and includes 30 Amp RV and Water and 15 Amp Electric and Water Sites with ground fault protection. Boat Launching is now 24 hr per day and self serve although a Launching service is still available for any visitor that wishes it. New Playground equipment has been installed and more recreational improvements are coming in 2013, and WiFi Internet service is coming for the summer of 2013! Of course the usual amenities of fish cleaning stations, ample docking, fresh bait, large assortment of tackle, camping supplies, fire wood, ice, drinks, Convenience Store are still here for your use and enjoyment.
